Pen <P>

You can create a shape used in photo editing works.

Steps

Click File > New and then create a blank canvas.
Click Make > Pen or the Pen icon on Tool Box.
Click the place where you want to start a path using the New Path mouse on a blank canvas.
Click on each point to make a shape of a path using the Add Point mouse.
Return to the first place where you started the path and click on the Path End mouse to finish the path job.

The mouse changes to the Path End mouse when you return the first place. If you make a line path, you can finish the path job by pressing ESC.

Click Make > Pen or the Pen icon on Tool Box.
Click the starting point of a shape on the photo using the New Path mouse.
Click on each point to make a shape of a path using the Add Point mouse and then return to the starting point.
Right click the mouse and click Make Selection from the menu list.
In the Make Selection dialog box, enter '1' in the Feather Radius input box under Rendering.
Click OK.

The following menus are available.

Select Type: Set the range of targets selected.

Icon	Name	Description
	Path Selection Tool	Select the entire path. You can move the selected path by dragging.
	Direct Selection Tool	Select an adjustment point composing the path. You can adjust the location of each adjustment point and the curvature rate.

Edit: Select work to perform.

Icon	Name	Description
	Pen Tool	Create a new path.
	Add Anchor Point Tool	Add a new point to the existing path.
	Delete Anchor Point Tool	Delete a point from the existing path.
	Convert Point Tool	Adjust the curvature rate of the path.

Mode: Determine the mode for shapes.

Icon	Name	Description
	Shape Layers	Make the created shape become a new mask layer. If you select this mode, the Area items are enabled.
	Paths	Process a shape drawn by the Pen tool as a path.

Area: Set the content of a newly created path.

Icon	Name	Description
	New	Delete the existing paths and leave the newly created paths only.
	Add	Create a new path while maintaining the path created and selected.
