Feather <Shift+F6>

You can soften the borderline of the selected area.

Steps

To soften the borderline

  1. Click the Select Tool icon on Tool Box.
  2. Drag the mouse on the photo to select an area.
  3. Click Edit > Feather.
  4. In the Feather dialog box, enter the value in the Radius input box.
  5. Click OK.

Radius

You can extend the borderline of the selected area depending on your preference. The extended borderline will gradually become transparent. You can set the value in the range between 1 and 200.
