Fill <Shift+F5>

You can fill a photo with a solid color or patterns.

Steps

To fill a photo with foreground color

1. Click the Foreground Color icon on Tool Box.
2. In the Color Picker dialog box, select the desired color.
3. Click OK.
4. Click the Select Tool icon on Tool Box.
5. Drag the mouse on the photo to select an area where you want to fill with color.
6. Click Edit > Fill.
7. In the Fill dialog box, select Foreground Color from Use under Contents.
8. Click OK.

To fill a photo with patterns

1. Click the Select Tool icon on Tool Box.
2. Drag the mouse on the photo to select an area where you want to fill with patterns.
3. Click Edit > Fill.
4. In the Fill dialog box, select Pattern from Use under Contents.
5. Select the desired pattern from Custom Pattern which is enabled when Pattern from Use is selected.
6. Click OK.

Contents

• Use: Select Foreground Color, Background Color, Color, or Pattern.
• Custom Pattern: Select the desired pattern from the pre-designed pattern collection. This menu is enabled when Pattern from Use is selected.

Blending

• Mode: Set the mode to synthesize a photo and painted content.
• Opacity: Set the transparency level for the painted content. The value '100' is for a complete opacity and the value 0 is for a transparency effect.
