Import

You can use a scanner or web cam that converts images into computer data, load an image into Foxit Studio Photo. The TWAIN driver is used to connect the image devices to your computer.

Steps

To import an image from an image device

Click File > Import.
In the Select Source dialog box, select the device from the list.
Click Select.
In the dialog box where you can select photos, select photos you want to import.

TWAIN Driver

TWAIN is the standard interface protocol that delivers image data by directly connecting a video input device such as a scanner or digital camera to the graphics processing program. TWAIN driver for Windows OS needs to be installed in the TWAIN (16 bit) or TWAIN_32 (32 bit) folder under the Windows directory and the DLL (Dynamic Linked Library) file with the *DS extension must exist.
After copying a photo on a smartphone or a tablet PC to the HD, you have to work on it in Foxit Studio Photo. If you click on [Load] to retrieve a photo from a smartphone or a tablet PC, an error will occur. If you click on [Load], the popup window will ask you to select a TWAIN driver. For this reason, the title of the window displayed does not reflect the function of Foxit Studio Photo.
