Save <Ctrl+S>

You can save the photo you are working on. You can save the photo in a different format such as EZI, EPS, PSD, PNG, etc.

Steps

To save a photo in EZI

  1. Click File > New.
  2. In the New dialog box, click OK to make a blank canvas.
  3. Click the Shape icon on Tool Box.
  4. In the Shape window, select the desired shape under Shape.
  5. Draw the mouse on the blank canvas to add a shape on it.
  6. Click File > Save.
  7. In the Save As dialog box, specify the location to save in.
  8. Type a new name in the File Name input box.
  9. Select Foxit Studio Photo (*.EZI) from the File Type list.
  10. Click Save.

You can select the drive or folder and move it to the folder to save in the folder. You can also type the name of a drive or folder in File Name.

The following formats are supported in Foxit Studio Photo.

Foxit Studio Photo EZI *.EZI EZI is a binary file format and designed to use in Foxit Studio Photo.
Foxit Studio Photo EZIX *.EZIX EZIX is saved in the XML format and designed to use in Foxit Studio Photo. Even though the same photo in the EZI format, the size is larger. However, all properties including layers are saved in XML format which is very useful in web design.
BMP *.bmp BMP expresses lines and shapes by using numerous small dots called pixels. Since any BMP image is a collection of dots, scaling a BMP image causes jaggedness to appear.
CompusServe GIF *.gif Gif is a graphic file format that can be used on the web. Color expression is limited to 255. It can be used for making transparent or animated images. There is no image loss from compression.
JPEG *.jpg;*.jpeg;*.jpe JPEG is a graphic file format that can be used on the web. It uses loss compression method, and the compression ratio can be varied at will. JPEG supports truecolor, so it is used for static images, such as photographs, that contain gradation of color.
PNG *.png Web browsers recently started supporting PNG graphic file format. PNG format supports image transparency (alpha channel) and brightness correction (gamma correction).
TIFF *.tif;*.tiff TIFF graphic file format has been co-developed by Apple Computer and Microsoft Corporation. It was designed to enhance compatibility of graphic file across different platforms. Macintosh type and IBM type are available.
Photoshop EPS *.eps Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) is a graphic file format. You can scale the image without losing image quality.
Photoshop PSD *.psd Photoshop Document (PSD) is designed to use in Photosohp and allows the most freedom of manipulation.
