Canvas Size <Ctrl+Alt+C>

You can reduce or expand the photo area, not the photo size. If you expand the canvas size, empty space will be added around the photo and if you reduce the canvas size, parts of the photo will be cropped out.

Steps

To check the canvas size

Click Edit > Canvas Size.
In the Canvas Size dialog box, check the information under Current Size.
Click OK.

To change the canvas size

Click Edit > Canvas Size.
In the Canvas Size dialog box, enter each value in Width and Height under New Size.
Click OK.

Current Size

You can view the size of the currently selected photo.

New Size

You can define your own canvas size. You can set the canvas size in various units, such as pixel, mm, cm, and point.

Width: Specify the width.
Height: Specify the height.
Anchor: Set the direction of expanding or reducing the canvas size.
