Clone <S>
You can copy parts of a photo to another location or photo.
Steps
To clone
- Click Edit > Clone or the Clone
icon on Tool Box.
- Specifying the area on the photo using the mouse while pressing ALT.
If you press ALT, the mouse pointer will be turned into a cross. When the starting point is set, it will revert to its original shape.
- Release ALT and then drag the mouse on the place where you want to apply the clone area.
Whenever you drag the mouse, the clone area is applied on the photo.

You can change the mode, brush size, opacity, shape, and other properties.
- Aligned: Clone an area in the starting location each time you drag your mouse. If you do not select Aligned, each time you drag your mouse, the area that is separated as far as the distance between the starting point and the first cloning location will be cloned.
- Size: Adjust the brush size. The unit is pixel.
- Opacity: Adjust the degree for the opacity.
- Mode: Change the mode by selecting from the drop-down list.
- Brush Shape: Display the basic information such as brush name, size, and shape. You can change the brush properties by clicking the More button.

Brush Shape
- Diameter: Adjust or display the default size. The unit is pixel.
- Hardness: Adjust the opacity of the brush edge. The default setting is [0,] and the unit is %.
- Spacing: Indicate the interval of repeated brush strokes when you paint by dragging the Brush tool. If you select a brush, the default setting will be displayed and you can adjust the interval. The unit is pixel.
- Roundness: Display the degree of roundness of your brush. The default setting is 100 and the unit is %.
- Angle: rotate a brush. The default setting is 0 and the unit is °.
Shape Dynamics
- Size Jitter: Set the degree of irregular changes of your brush.
- Angle Jitter: Set the degree of irregular rotation of your brush shape.
- Roundness Jitter: Set the degree of irregular distortions of the brush shape.
- Flip X Jitter: Reverse the left and the right of a brush irregularly.
- Flip Y Jitter: Reverse the top and the bottom of a brush irregularly.
Scattering
- Scatter Jitter: Make the vertical coordinate of brush marks irregular. The unit is % of the brush size.
- Count: Indicate the number of brushes displayed each time you click on it.
- Count/Jitter: Make the number of brushing irregular. The unit is %.
- Both Axes: Display the changes in scatter jitter vertically and horizontally.
Color Dynamics
- Fore/Background Jitter: Adjust the degree of irregular changes from the foreground brush color to the background brush color.
- Hue Jitter: Adjust the degree of change in the brush color tone.
- Saturation Jitter: Adjust the degree of change in the brush color saturation.
- Brightness Jitter: Adjust the degree of change in the brush color brightness.
- Purity: Adjust the degree of change in the brush color purity.
Other Dynamics
- Opacity Jitter: Adjust the degree of change in the brush opacity.
